Marianne holds a Master of Criminology (Forensic Psychology) and Bachelor of Science (Honours). Marienne is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (#017328) and APHRA (#PSY0001119854)

Marianne is a psychologist who has been in practice since 1991. She is registered by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA); Psychology Board of Australia and is a board registered psychology supervisor. She is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), the Australian Pain Society (APs); the Australian Association of Clinical Hypnosis (AACH); Aust ADHD Professionals Assoc AADPA; the Australian and New Zealand Mental Health; Assoc member of EMDRAA and an active member with many other local mental health professional networks(MHPN).

She is a registered provider with a number of private health funds and is an approved provider of services through Medicare, Workcover, TAC, VOCAT & the NDIS. Marianne also holds current National Police and Working with Children Checks.

To maintain a high standard of service delivery in evidence-based practice, Marianne undertakes regular professional consultation and development and operates within the strict ethical guidelines of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

She has extensive experience in working with children (aged 2-18 years) adults, couples and families with a range of presenting issues and from diverse cultural backgrounds. Main issues include early and recent trauma, anxiety and depression across the lifespan, attachment, relational and developmental disorders including Autism and ADHD.

She has extensive experience in providing individual and group therapy as well as in medico-legal assessment, specialist psychological assessment and diagnostic interviewing, psychopathology, panic, PTSD, chronic pain and recovery after injury. She uses a range of skills to tailor treatment to her client’s needs within a broad cognitive behavioural framework including Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Gottman Relationship Therapy & Mindfulness.
