About

Natalie is a compassionate and skilled psychologist with a focus on trauma, pain management, sleep problems, alcohol and drug issues, stress management and personal development. With a wealth of experience and a commitment to holistic well-being, Natalie employs a variety of therapeutic modalities to guide her clients towards healing and personal growth. Natalie utilises an integrative approach that combines evidence-based practices with creative and somatic interventions. Her light-hearted demeanour helps foster a sense of ease and openness during sessions, making the therapeutic process more enjoyable and productive. Natalie has experience working with children, adolescents and adults.

Natalie’s main modalities of practice are –

Schema Therapy: Addressing deep-seated patterns and maladaptive schemas that often result from early-life experiences, promoting lasting change.

Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT): Identifying and restructuring negative thought patterns to promote healthier behaviours and emotions.

Mindfulness Practices: Integrating mindfulness techniques to enhance self-awareness, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): A powerful therapy for processing traumatic memories and fostering adaptive coping mechanisms.

Clinical Hypnosis is a therapeutic technique that involves using hypnosis as a tool to facilitate a state of focused attention, imagery or relaxation.

Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) is a therapeutic approach specifically designed for children, recognising the unique needs and communication styles of children and uses play as a form of healing.
